MIL-DTL-21567B, DETAIL SPECIFICATION: COMPOUND, SILICONE, SOFT FILM (26 AUG 2009) [SUPERSEDING MIL-C-21567A]., This specification covers one grade of silicone compound with a corrosion inhibitorfor application to unpainted threaded or nonthreaded mating surfaces of ferrous components between -65degrees Fahrenheit (篎) (-53.89 degrees Celsius (癈)) and 160 篎 (71.1 癈). It is also appropriate for useas a lubricant for components fabricated from rubber (see 6.1).
