【摘要】:Thisisnotaroutinetest.Thevaluesrecordedareapplicableonlytothesewerbeingtestedandatthetimeoftesting.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestingthejointsofinstalledprecastconcretepipesewerlines,whenusingeitherairorwaterunderlowpressuretodemonstratetheintegrityofthejointandtheconstructionprocedures.Thispracticeisusedfortesting27-in.andlargerdiameterprecastconcretesewerlinesutilizingrubbergasketsealedjoints.1.2AcompletemetriccompaniontoPracticeC1103hasbeendeveloped-C1103M;therefore,nometricequivalentsarepresentedinthispractice.Note18212;Theownershallspecifythefollowing:whowillconduct,observe,andfurnishlabor,material,andmeasuringdevicesandpayforthetests;whoisresponsiblefordetermininglocalgroundconditions;andwhetheranairorwatertestistobeused.Note28212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthattestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Pipe24-in.diameterandsmallershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingPracticeC969orbylowpressureairtestingutilizingPracticeC924.Pipegreaterthan24-in.diametershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingC969.Note38212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthatnocorrelationhasbeenfoundbetweenairlossandwaterleakage.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection6.
