【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsformultilayerpipetype2andcompressionfittingsforhotandcolddrinking-watersystems,withamaximumpressureratingof1000kPa(145psi)at82?C(180?F).Note1MultilayerPipeType2-Construction-basedpressureratedpipecomprisingmorethanonelayerinwhichatleast60%ofthewallthicknessispolymericmaterial.Multilayerpipetype2isproducedusingabutt-weldedaluminumpipeasacore,withanextrudedinsidelayerofcrosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX).Anadhesivelayerisusedtobondtheinsidelayertothewallofthealuminumpipe.Anouterlayerofpolyethylene(PE)andanadhesivelayerareextrudedtotheouterwallofthealuminumpipe.Multilayerpipetype2isproducedinconfigurations1and2,asreferencedinFig.1.Thisspecificationincludescompressionfittings,whicharereferencedinFig.2.SpecificationsforthreadorsolderadaptersforusewithpipeandfittingsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregiveninAnnexA1andAnnexA2.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.
